Of all the children in the world, the children of
Uganda are among the most in need of the daily
necessities of life.

A long Civil war, which finally ended in 1986, had a
devastating effect on many families. An AIDS
epidemic which began in the early 1980s has killed
more than three million Ugandans, causing very many
children to become orphaned.

Rescue Mission and the opportunities that are
available to become involved in helping the
organization provide community-based child care and
development services at its Center in Western
Uganda.
